Watch me read The Big Red Rock on this storytime video.
The Big Red Rock is a children's picture book I wrote and illustrated. Published by Child's Play it tells the story of a small monster called Bif and his attempt to move a big red rock that's in his way. He enlists the help of others but nothing seems to work. Does the big red rock ever move?
It's a story full of funny monsters with a big surprise at the end!
Last year it was made into a little musical featuring some fab songs written by Joel Hall and Val Hall. It was narrated by Iona Crampton and Khalid Daley and streamed live for a week with the help of Nottinghamshire primary schools.
Plus loads of activities to make and do...
This was a children's museum guide I helped illustrate last year for the Corinium Museum Cirencester. It's full of exciting things to discover and do and comes complete with stickers!
It was a finalist in the 2021 Cultural Enterprises Awards.

Welcome to my archive! Harking back to another time when the internet was young and digital art was new! Tucking In was one of the first books I illustrated digitally. It was also winner of the Baby Book category of the Booktrust Early Years Award 2007.
